jimras Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 I had a problem like this, however, my system would start up.Turns out the problem was the fan on my video board. I had nothingbut trouble with fans on that board and I finally ended up putting a BIGheatsink on it.Open up the case and start it up and see if you can figure out what's makingthe noise. IEatHardDrives Posted January 22, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 Its a dell dimension 8200 I think its a hard drive problem about a month ago the CD/DVD drive craped out then the cd burner then floppy drive now the HD is screwing up it might be a mobo problem.
