Erratum
My microwave just stopped heating up out of nowhere. It still turns on, lights up, and spins, but whatever I put in there stays cold. Tried the usual—resetting it, unplugging for a while—but nothing's changed. Not sure if I should try fixing it myself or call someone in. Has anyone been through this and got it fixed without too much hassle?
Datohas
My microwave did the exact same thing a few months back—everything looked fine, but it just wasn’t heating. I called Max Appliance Repair, who handle appliance repair Toronto , and they figured it out real quick. Turned out it was the magnetron, which is one of those parts I wouldn’t mess with myself. The tech came out the same day, swapped it out, and it was back in business. Their rates were fair too, and they didn’t try to add any weird fees. Honestly, saved me from buying a new one. Give them a call—they’re lifesavers with stuff like that!
