tman70
I have a comcast e-mail address and have the spam filter set. But for the last 2 months I still average 4-5 spam mail a day. I keep clicking "the spam button" but I can't tell that it recognize's the spam as it still is the same misspelledjunk that Hotmail & Yahoo automatically reject. How long does it take Comcast to stop letting spam into the inbox?? mlegg510
I have had Comcast for years now. Though I do not rarely use the web based way of grabbing my email unless I am on the road.I have my Outlook set up with anyone in my Contacts gets sent to inbox, anyone not gets sent to Junkmail folder. I look regularly to see if anything I need is there.Comcast is not too good on the junkmail issue.

DarkestDream
Hotmail dont always automatically reject the spam, they have the lousy filter system.Gmail and Yahoo spam filter is very good. and any spam never show up in my inbox so far

rhema7
I don't get any junk mail in my comcast accounts and I have had it for over 4 years. I fine that most people get spam due to practices of there own. Filling out web forms for free stuff on the web. Using a simple address, replying to the remove from mailing list link. If you have [email protected] you will get more spam than [email protected]. Get a couple of junk accounts that you give to those you don't want to know your main account addy. This alone has been my best defense against spam.
