UltimateGamer0202 Posted December 5, 2005 Report Share Posted December 5, 2005 i am looking to upgrade my RAM and my Video Card on my current system, the system that i have is eMachines T6212The RAM that i have chosen is:Kingston HyperXThe Video Card i have chosen is:GeForce 6600GTi use my system for gaming, the game i play is mainly WoW, but i would like to get into Battle Field 2, and maybe some higher graphic games, all i need to know is are the choices above compatible with my system? Also check the Power requirements emachines don't have a adaquate Powersupply. I have a W2247 emachine and have owned many all I have repalce the Powersupply in all. The nivdia cards use quit a bit of Power. Do yourself a favor and change the Power supply 400watts atleast (better to have to much than too little). I play HL2 / Farcray / UT 2004 with no problems on the emachine with 1gig ram/ XP 2200/ ATI 9200 (128mb) GPU/ 450watt powersupply. You will never be able to compete with the big boyz in tourneys but pickup game will be no problem.Preston Quote Link to post Share on other sites
