How to Use Nol Cards on Intercity Buses

Hello everyone.

I’ve been using Nol cards for my daily commutes in Dubai, but I’m unsure about their use on intercity buses. Can Nol cards be used in intercity buses? I’ve heard mixed information and would like clarification on use nol in intercity buses. Are there specific types of intercity buses or routes where Nol is accepted?

If not, what alternative payment methods are recommended? Additionally, are there any plans for future integration of Nol cards on intercity services? Any insights or experiences from fellow commuters would be greatly appreciated.
