How To Use Firefox Switch Proxy

well folks, me and even my teacher are gettin mad about the insane blocks they are putting on all the websites at school. they are blockin newegg tigerdirect and even gateway and HPshopping. we are doing a project are pc and parts price comparison. and other classes she's doing business projects and they've most of the websites she was wanting to use. please help me figure out this switch proxy program.

Your stuck on a lan which requires a proxy, unless you have access to the main proxy server you wont be able to change anything.

Plus if you are at school doing this, all your intructor needs to do it inform either the local IT dept, or her supervisor and this should solve the problem. I don't think they would put blocks on the websites or her assignments, for that matter, unless it was necessary.

There must be a policy whereby staff can obtain access to blocked addresses. Instead of getting frustrated your teacher should just find out what that policy is and use it.
