Good Free Irc Clients?

Hi guys im looking for a free IRC client. Anybody got a good one? Also looking for a tuturial on how to use it. Im a bit new to it all. Thanks

Alot of people like Mirc, but i use Xircon. I couldnt figure out how to work Mirc, but Xircon is MUCH easier.

To use it go to "Servers">

Connect To:

besttechie.wyldryde.org:6667

Pick a Nick and User Name

Next

Tools > Join Channel.

Type "#besttechie"

CLick OK, and your done.

you could also try ChatZilla, an extension for FireFox...works great, and pretty easy to use!

Make sure you have the IRC plugin installed (you should.) Right click the IRC circle its white and go into manage my connections. make a new IRC connection. Itl ask you for the server and nickname and stuff. Make it and connect to it. Then right click the right circle again and go to join a channel. Just type in your channel and hit connect and your in.

This might be a little unclear so just ask if you have questions.

Ok, I did that, now where do I see the server? Where do i type?
