goman87
I got my comp back from my techy neighbour, and I noticed that there are two drives, a C:\ and a E:\ the E drive is the new one, but the E drive has 36.6gb's of storage! I was just wondering how he got 2 drives on my comp. Btw, the next time I see him I will ask him.

il_wiccan
Just look in your BIOS. That will tell you how many physical hard drives you have.....
xxkbxx
To find out it would be even easier to check by simple addition/subtractionWhat was your original drive size? If it is still the same capacity it's a new driveI have a hunch though cause 36.6gbs sounds alot like 40gbs

Parrotgeek7
They are the large, solid rectangular objects wih a ribbon cable and power cable plugged into them. Most cases have them mount in a cage below the cd drives and floppy.
