I had one of my XP computers set up with a password for Outlook Express for one of the users. (me)

Somehow it dissapeared and no longer promts for a password.

I looked through the OE options, but can't find how to re enable it.

Anyone know?

Sounds like "remember" password was selected at some point.

I would say look in options and find you password. Delete the password. Close OE then open in and try to check mail this ?may? get bthe password popup back.

Good luck

Mike

Thanks for the replies.

Those options do not appear in OE Options though.

I was able to find out how to do it however, in case anyone's interested:

In OE select File-> Identities-> Manage Identities. Highlight the applicable identity. Choose Properties. From there you can select a password.
