mikex
In the bios make cd rom boot first. If fdisk/format has been done, you could remove the floppy then reboot. I had problems with making bootdisk last night, possible problem with the floppy I tried to use.M
il_wiccan
Marty if I remember I use to use the boot floppy that had cd-rom support on it. I would boot up from the floopy, then choose cd support and then I just installed 98 from the cd......
JSKY
Yes set it to boot from the floppy first. The floppy will create a virtual drive for your CD-ROM.
Guest Crow
Problem is this.. if you formatted from the prompt, then you erased the cd-rom driver and you will need replace it. MSCDEX is the file you need Marty:)
