What might cause a total collapse in Organic Traffic?

Looking at one case of 2024 new years traffic dropping to zero clicks, with no obvious google warnings in console, some pointers/thoughts on

1) Obvious causes
2) Not so obvious causes

If a site does not use g analytic and/or Adsense should it expect absolutely no traffic or at least some traffic but not zero from google?

A collapse of traffic generally means your site disappeared from search results. If you disappeared from all search engines at the same time, the problem is more likely to be the result of something you did:
