rayback
Hello,I've recently used ComboFix to scan for spyware/malware in my computer. There weren't any signs or symptoms of spyware, I just ran it for a test.... after running it I noticed that windows xp started to run slow a little bit... and that my free space went from 6.5gb to 4.7gb.....I uninstalled it by the command combofix /u, computer is running perfect now, HD space is back to 6.5gb.any idea? just wondering what's going on with this program...Thanks,Ray
shanenin
That is interesting. Hopefully some of the trained malware experts will be able to enlighten you. I am curious myself.
Rorschach112
You shouldn't be running ComboFix yourself. CF is not that big, and it cleans up temp files, so I find it hard to believe its responsible for taking up 2 gigs of space
