YulianaBoyle
A friend is taking me to Australia next Spring and insisting we fly business class. I’m definitely an economy flyer, usually using airline miles. We will be flying on United. I know there are lie flat seats and we will get to board earlier, but I have no idea what to expect otherwise. Is the food the same as economy? Do they give you goodies or better things than the people at the back? Is one expected to dress better? So many questions, and I appreciate any tips you can give me. Thanks! JonathanButler
Expect that you will be the first one to get on board and the first one to leave the plane when you lend much more comfier seats, better food, free champagne, and an extra suitcase allowed to check-in. JonathanButler
Also you’ll get comfy lie-flat seats, which are perfect for actually getting some sleep, and they usually serve really good food—not the typical stuff you’d get in economy. They even hand out amenity kits with things like an eye mask, socks, and little toiletries, which is a nice touch. At the airport, you can hit up the lounge before your flight, which is a chill spot with free food and drinks. No need to stress about how to dress—smart-casual works fine, but honestly, comfort is key. If you’re thinking of flying business class, it’s worth checking out places that specialize in finding deals for these tickets.
