Please can you help me.1) When I drag and drop on the desktop or in any of the folders, then system locks when I drop.2) If I left click on the toolbar file button, the system locks3) If I right click on a file or folder the system locks4) If I right click on the START button the system locks 5) The pointer drifts slowly across screen at different times. But the mouse is clean. Running windows XP home edition with all recent updates. Norton antivirus and internet security, AVG, Spybot, Ad-Aware SE. Have also run several webb based scans but the problem still persists. Disabled all protection but still the same. Tried system restore to no avail. Now itsreally beginning to annoy me, as its been going on for about six months. My desktop is covered with icons and my Unused Desktop Shortcut folder is bursting.The only way that I can delete anything is by using ERASURE V 5.6 that still allows me to drag and drop files into its On-Demand pageIf any one could please help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank youADAware reconfig as suggested. Ran scan and deleted several items, mostly cookies. Ran CW Shredder again OK.Ran Spybot again OKAVG Sheduled Test and Updates daily. (Read that I should only be running one Anti-virus programme at a time. What are your views on this as I run both AVG and Norton Sytem.)Ran Trend and deleted two items.Downloaded and ran TDS-3.
