therock247uk
Was mbam updated before you scanned?Download ComboFix from one of these locations:Link 1Link 2* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your DesktopDisable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our toolsDouble click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts. As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt log in your next reply.

khudamorad
My initial problem was a redirect virus that sent me to other sites once I clicked on a link. We found it wasn't the go google virus as suspected. Also, I was unable to update my anti-virus for some reason. After working with therock247uk we finally were able to get combo-fix.exe installed and working, and after it ran and rebooted, my anti-virus was able to update itself. Furthermore I was able to go to a few sites without being redirected. I dont know if I am virus free but I was told to repost anew highjack this so here it is. therock247uk
Before we begin, you should save these instructions in Notepad to your desktop, or print them, for easy reference. If you have questions at any point, or are unsure of the instructions, feel free to post here and ask for clarification before proceeding.1. Please re-open HiJackThis and choose do a system scan only. Check the boxes next to ONLY the entries listed below(if present):R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - (no file)O20 - AppInit_DLLs: equkpe.dll 2. Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, including browsers, so that nothing other than HijackThis is open, then click Fix Checked. A box will pop up asking you if you wish to fix the selected items. Please choose YES. Once it has fixed them, please exit/close HijackThis. When you are finished, post a new HijackThis log here in a reply. Also, please let me know of any problems you may have encountered.
