ashfacei
So whatever virus(es) I seem to have are attaching themselves to a lot of things. I can't use IE anymore (never did really), Firefox barely works (won't load a lot of websites) and also won't let me download anything. I had to system restore the other day because I could not even turn my computer on, not even through safe mode. Here is my HijackThis log.Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 5:29:07 PM, on 3/15/2009Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.00.1904)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16757)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exeC:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exeC:\Windows\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exeC:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exeC:\Program Files\HP\QuickPlay\QPService.exeC:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Quick Launch Buttons\QLBCTRL.exeC:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exeC:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exeC:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Wireless Assistant\HPWAMain.exeC:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Wireless Assistant\WiFiMsg.exeC:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\hpwuSchd2.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exeC:\Windows\ehome\ehtray.exeC:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Shared\HpqToaster.exeC:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exeC:\Windows\system32\wuauclt.exeC:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exeC:\Program Files\AIM6\aim6.exeC:\Program Files\AIM6\aolsoftware.exeC:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Photoshop.exeC:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exeC:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2009\uiscan.exeC:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exeR1 - Rorschach112
helloDownload ComboFix from one of these locations:Link 1Link 2* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your DesktopDisable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our toolsDouble click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts. As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt log in your next reply.
