KM299
Well, I turned on my computer maybe around 4:30PM December 16th, and a few notifications on a Trojan. I really don't remember downloading anything that day, but I do share a computer with my, brother and sister. So, I don't really know if they downloaded anything or if any of their friends did. But it just popped up. And I don't know, so here is the log...:Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 6:40:51 PM, on 16/12/2008Platform: Windows Vista SP1 (WinNT 6.00.1905)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6001.18000)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exeC:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exeC:\Windows\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exeC:\Program Files\DellTPad\Apoint.exeC:\Windows\System32\hkcmd.exeC:\Windows\System32\igfxpers.exeC:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager\IAAnotif.exeC:\Windows\System32\WLTRAY.EXEC:\Program Files\Google\Google Desktop Search\GoogleDesktop.exeC:\Program Files\Dell\MediaDirect\PCMService.exeC:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\bin\sprtcmd.exeC:\Program Files\Sigmatel\C-Major Audio\WDM\sttray.exeC:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exeC:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jusched.exeC:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\egui.exeC:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\GoogleToolbarNotifier.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exeC:\Program Files\Digital Line Detect\DLG.exeC:\Program Files\Kodak\Kodak EasyShare software\bin\EasyShare.exeC:\Program Files\Dell\QuickSet\quickset.exeC:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exeC:\Windows\system32\igfxsrvc.exeC:\Program Files\DellTPad\ApMsgFwd.exeC:\Program Files\DellTPad\HidFind.exeC:\Program Files\DellTPad\Apntex.exeC:\Program Files\Google\Google Desktop Search\GoogleDesktop.exeC:\Program Files\Google\Google Desktop Search\GoogleDesktop.exeC:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exeC:\Windows\system32\wuauclt.exeC:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exeC:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exeC:\Windows\system32\sdclt.exeC:\Windows\system32\SearchFilterHost.exeR1 - sarahw
Hi,We'll run a quick scan to see whats lurking around. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or HereDouble Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan. The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient. When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.Extra Note:If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.
