googlecrumbs
O.K., so I go and turn on my computer one day, and everything goes normal until it boots up and I log in, it says error 0x00000 with svchost.exe or something. I thought that a little weird, but it wasn't at all harmful for the moment. I then tryed to open a *.zip file right off of my desktop with WINrar, but it said it was not a valid win32 application. Then I tryed all (of the many) *.zip and *.rar files on my desktop. No give. This hasn't ever happened until just now. THEN I try to play a game (AncientCli.exe) and it has that error. "Generic host process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." Sometimes *.exe's do that, or when I click them absolutely nothing happens. EEK! Then, this is what frustrates me the most. I actually have no idea if this has to do anything with the error codes, but there's this game i've been trying to install called toontown, by Disney. The web browser says "NOW DOWNLOADING", and it downloads for a while, then it unexpectedly crashes and goes to a "Report a Bug" page. I sent a bug report, tryed uninstalling again, tryed removing by control panel, tryed putting my problem on another forum, tryed uninstalling it the way that they told me to do on the reply to my bug report. Everything. I dunno whats up with this! Any replies much, much appreciated.

rmurphy
Welcome to BestTechie! I'm Ryan, and I'll be helping you clean your computer..Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or HereDouble Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan. The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient. When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.Extra Note:If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.-RYan
googlecrumbs
Aww man I can't seem to post the log because I cant open the txt file from mbam since my default txt file opener (NotePad) doesnt work cuz of the virus so i went and serched C:/ drive so i could manually open it with Wordpad or whatever but nothing was there. Is it saved somewhere on my hard drive that I can get to without going through the Tabs? This is very frustrating. Edited July 15, 2008 by googlecrumbs
