I can usually resolve most malware, spyware, and viruses via registry entries, files, etc... But this system is tripping me out, and I don't wanna have to reinstall everything because there is some programs that my company uses that they do not have the disk for (which by the way are DOS & LINUX based and really OLD!).Anyhow... Everytime I click on Internet explorer from the desktop icon (that the system creates), it does not open up the Internet Explorer windows it just creates a new IE shortcut icon. when I click on the IE icon in the quick launch, this does open an Internet Explorer window... However, when I type in a new site address and click go, it starts opening a bunch of blank IE windows and then it just locks up. The funny part is, that if I am on the current web page that I set my IE properties too. It will stay on that same window fine when searching through that window only... I know it all seems kind of weird or it probably doesn't make sence... but please HELP! It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.Close any open browsers.Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.-----------------------------------------------------------Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled.
