deaf_girl
I have a HP Pavilion dv6000t laptop with 2GB of RAM, Nvidia 7400. I'm trying to do a fresh install but I keep running into problems.I have tried with the recovery partition and the recovery DVD discs. I keep getting errors during the installation. These are some of the errors.1) Windows could not parse the unattended answer file for pass [specialize]. The settings specified in the answer file cannot be applied. The error was detected while processing settings for component [Microsoft-Windows-Deployment].2) The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click O.K. To restart the computer and then restart the installation. When these come up the mouse is dead, the cursor won't move.3) Error 1005, If issue continues contact HP Support.I've tried google with no luck, any ideas?I tried installing one more time and it worked. 5th times a charm. garmanma
From what I have read and barely understand, you might have to contact HP for a new set of disks
