jamestown
Hello, recently my laptop has been running very slow while I am browsing the web. The time to switch between windows/tabs and minimize/restore windows is very slow, and the more windows/tabs I have open, the slower the switching/loading time is. I have a fast cable connection, so I don't think it's that. Have been using IE 7, but don't like it much. Just downloaded Opera a few minutes ago, going to try it out. Any help is greatly appreciated. --JamesLogfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 7:50:29 PM, on 3/15/2008Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16608)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\WLTRYSVC.EXEC:\WINDOWS\System32\bcmwltry.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LVMVFM\LVPrcSrv.exeC:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgamsvr.exeC:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgupsvc.exeC:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgemc.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LVCOMSER\LVComSer.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VS7DEBUG\MDM.EXEC:\Program Files\Dell\NICCONFIGSVC\NICCONFIGSVC.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LVCOMSER\LVComSer.exeC:\WINDOWS\BCMSMMSG.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\WLTRAY.exeC:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPLpr.exeC:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exeC:\Program Files\Dell\QuickSet\quickset.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LComMgr\Communications_Helper.exeC:\Program Files\Logitech\QuickCam\Quickcam.exeC:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_04\bin\jusched.exeC:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\1.2.1128.5462\GoogleToolbarNotifier.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exeC:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Distillr\acrotray.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Logishrd\LQCVFX\COCIManager.exeC:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exeC:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgcc.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\WISPTIS.EXEC:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exeC:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exeC:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exeC:\Program Files\Opera\Opera.exeC:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exeR1 -
