Internet Session Keeps Closing[INACTIVE]

Hi - thank you in advance!

Problem: When on the internet (using explorer) certain pages close immediately - others close after a few minutes. Others present no problems. The applications I run the most are Internet Explorer, Photoshop CS2, Word & Excel.

Examples:

1. http://www.homestead.com/ is the login screen for my website administration. As soon as I enter my login information - any open internet pages close.

2. I tried to get to the spybot download page from the insturctions under spyware removal - it would go there for a second and then close any open windows.

Actions taken to date:

1. Downloaded, paid for & ran Error Expert - it found and repaired some items.

2. Dowloaded & ran Ad-aware 2007 - it found and repaired some items.

3. Dowloaded & ran Registry cleaner - it would only clean 15 items it found out of 400+ (for free)

4. Tried unsuccessfully to run Spybot (page kept closing)

5. Ran all Windows updates

6. Rebooted in between each of these actions

7. Ran HiJack this - here is the log:

I am MoNsTeReNeRgY22 and I will be assisting you with your malware problem today.

We need to update your version of Hijackthis to the latest release.

Please find and delete the Hijackthis.exe you already have installed.

Click here to download HijackThis.

Save HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.

Double click on the HJTInstall.exe icon to start the program.

By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis

After the final dialogue box it will launch HijackThis.

Click on the scan button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.

Save the log, and post me it in your next reply.
