ive just had a tv card given to me

and dammed if i can find drivers

because im completely lost

i need your help

more so the members who have installed a tv card

device manager says

i need rivers for

multimedia controler

and multimedia video controler

which i presume are the drivers

i installed etheral driver guide

and a coupla others to scan my hard ware

but there isnt any info about the card

apart from those yellow signs in

devise manager

if any one has been involved with a tv card

any tips

all i can get are thses specs

dynalink card

software hvc plus

decoder software site

pn.ao537308

tv502k.exe

to me that is hard to understand

but maybe some one will explain thanks

yes there is a conexant chipset

with the serial no

b1878khf

ive been to the

tv site

and conexant

advisores say the cx2388x

is the best driver

but i cant find the down load page

to load the driver

this is the site i got some of the info from

all those figures and numbers do not register with me

This can be tricky. When switching mine from one PC to another, I had to look on the card and get all the info (company, model, serial number, etc.) and then start googling. I found the drivers, but they included some very odd installation instructions. I basically just tried installing what apparently was the core driver, rebooting and trying to reinstall it several times, and eventually it worked.
