recently i had a wireless k-board and mouse given to me brand new

as i ahvent had any experience with this type of sys

i found it a bit diffucult to to configur it in to the sys

it had an install cd

but now it has corrupted one of my files

which comes to the desk top when i boot up

to get rid of the thing

i had to restore back past the date

and the notice has gone

but ime curious as to know what i did wrong

i normally use a conventional mouse and k-board

so ime lost as to what happened

Did you uninstall your old mouse and keyboard and then boot with the new, or did you install the new with out uninstalling?

yes i uninstalled my old mouse

then booted with the wireless

the sys had recognised

the hard ware

as a notice came up in the tray

but not having any experience with this sys

i was lost

normally i post to the board

for any info

but i was assured it was straight forward

as long as i had the driver cd

very likely it was some thing i did wrong

from now on ile post to the board first before i try any thing new

the thing was given to me free

so i had nothing to loose

however my sys was corrupted so i had to restore windows back a coupla

days

i dont want to sell it but later when i calm down ile try again
