YulianaBoyle
Just curious, but does anyone else take first aid supplies into the field when hunting? If so ,what type, and why? Personally I carry a tourniquet for anything gunshot related, gauze for anything needing to be kept clean that a bandaid can't cover, tape to secure the gauze, bandaids for anything small, and tons of blister care crap. Brave_Jan
I always have one on me. It really depends upon where I am going and what I will be doing, as to how extensively it is stocked beyond basics.
AriellaTerry
I know this is an older post, but I thought I’d chime in! I always take a small first aid kit with me when hunting—just in case. I carry a tourniquet too, and some gauze, tape, and band-aids like you mentioned. One thing I also add is a few Wypall wipes. They’re super useful for cleaning up any mess, especially when you’re out in the field and don’t have access to water or soap. I remember one time, I cut my hand pretty badly while field dressing a deer. Having the wipes on hand made cleaning up a lot easier, and it kept everything much more hygienic. It’s nice knowing that you're prepared for the unexpected.
