martymas Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 ime not sure if this is of interest to many on the board but that mountaineer sir edmond hillary who conqured mount everest has pass away aged 88to us he was a great man not for climbing a dam hill but for work he did for charity and for what he did for other peoplei knew him and his family well he was humble kind and a humanitarinand he was accessable to all people not just the elite as a matter of fact he would get out on the road and play cricket with the kids when he was well the tebetian people treated him like a man on the street and he didnt want it any other way i hope i havent crossed the lines by posting this obituarymarty Quote Link to post Share on other sites
