deaf_girl
Like I said in my other post, I'm going with my boss to buy a computer. I'm trying to figure out which one of these two should she get?http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1188559785233orhttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1186008217632She is going to be using it mainly for office work, email and shopping. No gaming. Thanks
garmanma
I'd go with the Intel machine. The video processor looks more promising. if I'm reading the stats. correctly.Mark
sethook
Also check the OS being offered on other models. I'm not a big fan of any "Home" version OS. Just my thing though.
deaf_girl
Pretty much all the computers sold at Best Buy have Vista home. I'm not to thrilled about having to teach her Vista (she barely knows XP). I'm starting to think the intel too. Shes got the money.Just out of curiosity, what are the difference between Home and Ultimate?
garmanma
I didn't read up on VISTA because I have no intention of buying it, but from what I have read, they say if you're upgrading and have XP Pro don't bother with VISTA home because you won't see a great deal of differenceMark
