wonderent
Will sure appreciate anyone's time.Computer: XP home ed -- Pentium D processor with plenty of power and plenty of memory. I've used Outlook Express probably since about 1993 on several different computers with not one problem over the years. In the last week, however, a couple of times, it has stopped functioning. The first time, all of a sudden the messages in my Sent and Deleted folders disappeared. I kept checking to make sure I wasn't dreaming, but they were gone. I closed the program and reopened [without restarting the computer] and all messages were there and everything was normal.Since then, 3 or 4 times, I couldn't delete a particular message and then couldn't view it. I would get a little error message that the email couldn't be displayed.Once again, when I close out the program [OE], and open it back up, it's fine. Do you think I'm heading toward some major problem? The only thing I have done different to my computer before this happened was to add Spybot Search and Destroy, which I have used before but had just never put on this particular computer because I was already using Adaware, Spysweeper, and Win Defender. As I mentioned, I have never ever seen this happen before, so it is worrying me.Thanks so much, nancy

I just checked and I do NOT have it enabled, nor SD helper. Was just planning to use for scans.I have to be away from computer again but will check back later.
