wonderent
In trying to look at a segment via the This Week with George Stephanopoulos on ABC website, whether I try on IE or Firefox, it runs for 10 seconds and then hesitates [buffers, I guess]. If this were dial up, I would understand, but we have DSL which is pretty fast. Is there a configuration that will set video clips to totally download before playing?Sure will appreciate your time and assistance!nancy Edited July 3, 2007 by wonderent
martymas
hi nancythe way i do mine with windows media playeris open wmp -tools -options--performancelook for connection speed in the drop down that opens set your connection option. mine is cableand in buffer. set the buffer to 60 secondsclick apply you will find the pauses is the down load stops as the buffer finds the the automatic option so if you set it to 60 secs the pauses dont come until 60 secs are up marty Edited July 3, 2007 by martymas
blim
Marty, Son has the same problem with his computer and I'm going to have him check out your tip, thank you!Nancy, if that doesn't do the trick (but I bet it does), as soon as Son opens up a video, he clicks the "stop" button, goes and grabs some milk and cookies while it loads and then clicks "play" Hopefully Marty's tip works here....we'll go through less cookies...Liz
