jimras
After a period of about 20+ years of not being involved in the hobby,I find myself back in the R/C Helicopter hobby again.I was just wondering if anybody else on BT shares my interest?I am right now flying a Blade CX2 which is quite small and canonly be flown indoors or outside if NO wind present.Anybody else out there fly heli's????jim
Bubba Bob
Hi Jim,I have the Blade CX. These are neat little helis. How long have you had yours? Im finally able to take it out for a fly with out having to buy new parts afterwards. Took me a while, but Im finally there. Hehehe. If you havent already, I invite you to join RC Universe. jimras
thanks for the link......haven't been there but I will explore.Back in the 70's, I had a DuBro Scorpion that barely could hoverand never did get that to fly good. I flew lots of planes but helis were just coming into their own. Then kids, and job, andmoving, and yada yada yada,,,,,,,,,,,My dad, who is very active in R/C gave me a Falcon 3Dfor my birthday this year but that heli is SO far advancedto me right now that I couldn't even attempt to try that yetHe loaned me his Blade CX2 to try for a while and I gothooked again. Bought one myself. LOTS of fun.I can hover out a full battery now (10 minutes) and if Ican find a larger space than my garage, I'll start doing forward flight.I look forward to the day I take the Falcon 3D out and start flying that. Having a ball!!!!!jim

isteve
I raced RC car's and trucks for a little over 15 years. Have won many state and regional events also raced some national events. I stoped about two years ago when I started playing guitar again. I have played with some indoor flyers airplans and a cheap little heli. Been looking for a small helicopter for the backyard will the CX work for that?
jimras
The Blade CX2 is VERY sensative to wind so if there isany wind at all, you probably don't want to be out with it.Flies just fine inside, however.
