shanenin
My understanding is games like single core possessors better then dual. You have a pretty fast single core proc. I don't see that being a bottle neck in most games
sethook
What exactly are you doing with your PC that requires a concern with performance? If all you're doing is web browsing, office, and email you should be good to go.

I would guess he is talking about gaming performance
sethook
I usually try and have folks spell out the details when troubleshooting or helping them. I've been bit too many times guessing or assuming.
shanenin
Sorry for giving you a hard time. I still think i am holding a grudge from a while back when you told me to google it(probably good advice). I need to let it go :-) Edited February 15, 2007 by shanenin
Honda_Boy
for gaming performance, yes that 3500 actually is a bottle neck. Believe it or not my 3500 is a small bottle neck on my SLI Twin 7600GT's. I plan to upgrade to an Athlon 64 FX sometime in the near future so I can make use of one of those cards.
