I like CounterSpy,AVG Anti-spyware and either PC Tools Spyware Doctor or Webroot's SpySweeper. Please tell me what programs you like and dislike. I use Bit Defender 10 as a anti-virus. Since you asked for opinions, I'll offer mine.I'm glad to see that you have a firewall.....I don't know anything about yours but any firewall is better than notusing one. Mine is hardware (router)Also using Firefox is MUCH more secure than M$'s IEalthough no browser is perfect.In addition, I run AdAware, Spybot S&D, and I useAVAST for my anti-virus. I occasionally will run AVG anti virus. It's good to check with a secondprogram once in a while. Both work good and theyare free!I also run SpywareBlaster and keep it up to date.All the programs in the world won't do you any goodif you don't regularly update and RUN THEM. I also recommend using a mail program that will let youcheck for mail AT THE SERVER without downloading sothat you can delete the spam before it gets to your computer.
