  1. Doubt it. If the cable works then it's likely one of your ports. If you're on the same router port with the laptop then it's likely your desktop's port. Blow it out to remove dust etc. and check the cable is going in securely. If this doesn't help, it's likely you'll need a new card. ~Phil~ Wow, I guess it was dirty. I didn't think dust could cause that sort of problem. It's working fine now. Thanks for your help!
  2. It is connected to a router, and the to my ethernet port on my computer. The cable works fine, as I am able to connect to the internet via my laptop, so it is most likely some type of software problem.
  3. Hi again, the problem that I'm faced with today is that the Local Area Connection pop-up on the taskbar is continually flashing with "A network cable is unplugged" warning. It is as if the computer detects a connection for a split second, and then losses it, and repeats. This problem happened out of nowhere, and I have no clue where to start looking for the problem. Thanks for the help in advance!
  4. Thanks alot! That's exactly what I was looking for
  5. Is it possible to connect a laptop hard drive (ATA-6) to a desktop? One of my laptops broke, and I need the information on the hard drive. Thanks!
  6. Hi, I have a HP Pavilion ze5000 and every time I turn on the laptop, it prompts me in MSDOS to change the time/date in the bios. If I do not, it takes aprox. 5 min for it to start up. I had the battery in the motherboard for the bios changed, but that did not work. What could the problem be? Thanks!
  7. Hi, now Hijack does go through a complete scan, but closes after about 4 seconds after.
  8. Hey thanks for your help . Everything seems to be working fine except this problem. Everytime I start up Hijackthis, it stops scanning at 015- Trusted Zone enumeration, then it shuts down Hijackthis and deletes the program. Should I be concerned? Thanks.
