Hi. I know Quite a bit about computers, but I simply cannot find a solution for this problem. I have a Home network consisting of A desktop Running Windows Xp Home edition, and a laptop running windows xp Professional edition. I would like to know if i can speak to a user on the desktop from the laptop using an already installed piece of software such as ms-dos. if not please explain why and please recommend a program that i dont have to install on both computers to make it work. thank you.
