    nope. Chkdsk doesn't do anyhting. I can't get into safe mode becuase well the messed up DLLs reflect the ones that login, and the desktop . Side note: Actually it was meant for SP2, but I had SP1 (prospect of trusting Microsoft with my laptop gave up 2 years ago)
