[Vimax Virus[INACTIVE]]

Please help Vimax adverts keep popping up, blue screener keeps showing, google search results open in a new tab. Please help me get rid of the virus. I have downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-malware but it is not letting me open it. Please help.. simplest terms possible please.
