  1. Thanks for helping! For some reason the reboots suddenly stopped without me doing anything. Although I still don't like the fact that it was doing them in the first place.

Here is the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware scan:

  2. I'm not sure if this is the right place so sorry if it isn't.

I continue to get these following errors:

    Microsoft Windows

Close Programs to Prevent Information loss.

Your computer is low on memory. Save your files and close these programs:

    Windows Live Messenger

    Firefox

    Desktop Window Manager

Windows will only close enough programs to restore needed memory.

    Followed by:

    ACER.EMPOWERING.FRAMEWORK.SUPERVISOR.EXE - No debugger found.

No registered JIT debugger was specified.

Click on Retry to have the process wait while attaching a debugger manually.

My computer then resets itself. It does this at the moment every hour or so.

The physical memory is way higher than it should be, and I can only guess that it's a virus. I did initially panic when this happened as I was desperate to get some work in, so I did idiotically try fixing it myself.

It now doesn't recognise CD's very well and seems to be slowing down.
