  1. Thanks for the help. 1. I have USB devices that work as they should. 2. I did NOT install another hard drive. 3. I installed "USB hard drive enclosure" with new formatted, and partioned (Fat 32) hard drive. 4. Unlike other USB devices, the "USB hard drive enclosure" is NOT seen in My computer, or Explorer, ONLY in device manager. (Compaq Armada e500, Windows 98se) 5. In device manager both hardware, and driver is listed as working properly. 6. On another machine with Windows Xp, the "USB hard drive enclosure" is seen everywhere, and works perfectly. Thanks...

  5. THE PROBLEM: The system: Compaq Armada e500 laptop. With battery installed, system will not boot. Remove the battery, and everything is great. Manual check of the battery shows, fully charged %100. Computer check shows the same. Remove A/C system works until battery is discharged, around 25 minutes. Prior to problems, system failed to exit hibernation. The battery was removed, re-installed and everything was great. Changed the power settings, shutdown system normally, would not boot with battery installed afterwards. Any assistance will be highly appreciated Thanks

  12. Hi Fire... I tried everything as instructed. After downloading and installing the file, the screen seetings changed. I corrected that by going to control panel and making the adjustments. The good news is I am now able to delete the undeletables, however they return immediately whenever I reboot. This happens in safe and normal modes. Thanks for the help. What's our next step ?
