Wireless Network Issues On Xp Boot Camp
omarramo12 replied to omarramo12's topic in Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod
The internet works when plugged directly in but im not always near my router so i need the wireless working for xp. Ive had the firewall off for a while now while I have been trying to fix this so that wasnt the problem. It could be just a driver issue. Do you have any other suggestions? -

DOes anyone know how to get mpeg-4 videos to play in media center?
-
There wasnt any media center in the add remove programs. I was looking in the registry though and theres a key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\MedCtrUpg. So it added some stuff but when i cancelled it must have stopped installing media center and jsut did pro and now it wont ask for the second cd during installation. I read also someone saying if i added HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\MediaCenter and then in there make a DWORD value called Installed and make it "1", that would tell the computer that it is a computer that can have media center and make it ask for the second cd but i was afraid t

sry, i forgot to add that i have a dimension 8200. also instead of what i said above is it possible to just take both of the continuity modules out and put two 256 rimms in giving a total of 4 256 sticks of ram?
-
I have a dell 8200 thats 2 and a half years old and on it there are two 256-RDRAM rimm pc800 modules installed along with two continuity modules. I want to upgrade to a gig of ram so i was wondering if i can take one continuity module out and just put a 512 mb rimm module in its place.
