  1. I already tried to uninstall from the add/remove program. Office isn't an option there for me to remove it. The message I get if I click on word or publisher is.... This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. It IS installed, and I can't get rid of it. I've never uninstalled anything from the safe mode. Is there something special I have to do? I don't know how to do it from the registry. This is the craziest thing I've ever had to deal with...other then trying to uninstall symantic once.
  2. I had a situation happen where I had to use my recovery disk to get my computer working properly again. I think it had a virus. After using it, I wasn't able to use anything from MS Office. When I tried to open Word, Publisher, or Power Point, I got the message it wasn't a working shortcut. I tried to reinstall Office, but couldn't. I googled how to uninstall MS Office and followed the instructions and that didn't work either. I installed two different programs to try to uninstall it, they couldn't find it. I went to My Computer, C drive, programs, MSOffice and all the files are there.
