hi guys..i needed a help in writing the c code..i am not that good in c but trying to learn it..i was stuck with the following problems among many of them..i would be glad if i could get a c code for the questions below..pls write d code in c and not c++ as i am trying to learn c and not c++..hehe..

ques 1- write a program to check whether one string is a sub string of another string.

quest 2- the librarian in a library wants an application that will calculate the due date for a book given the issue date. the no. of days in which the book is due can be decided by the librarian at the time of issuing a book(for example- if book is issued on 14-01 and d no of days that a book can be kept issued is 15,then the program should display output at 29-01).

quest 3- write a program to find the nearest smaller prime numbr for a given integer; use a function to decide whether a number is prime or not.

quest 4- given three numbers, determine whether they can make a triangle or not.write a program for the same

hey guys..i have a problem regarding d OS..just lemme know of anyone could solve one. i had installed microsoft vista on my comp now,for some reason,i wanted to have XP too on my comp. the problem is, vista simply wont let me install xp on it. it doesnt boot up d disc at all. i thought of another option. i had a spare hard disk. i got xp installed on that particular drive from a frnd's comp and attached this drive to my comp and changed s boot priority. now, comp starts with a xp welcome screen but it automatically reboots again or asks my choice to work on a mormal window or a safe mode.if i select safe mode,it comes back to this scree of choices and if i select normal,d comp reboots..how to make xp installed on my comp..pls let me know..

btw,do u know of any patch that will allow oracle to work on vista???

hey guys..

i am from india,where iphone is going to e launched..i had a few queries which i would like to get answered b4 i make up my mind to buy a iphone

1st- can i load different softwares like i do on any symbian nokia or a sony ericsson cell??

2nd- do these softwares r readily available on net and that too for free like symbian softwares?

3rd- i heard from few sources dat d gps of iphone is crapy..wats d truth is?

4th-also,do i require any form of internet connectivity like gprs,edge or wi-fi to work on d gps of the iphone? or will it work like it does in any of the gps connectivty cells like asus p320??

i would be really glad if i would be able to get d ans for my queries..

hi guys..

i needed a help as i could not decipher wat the following thing is..

i was actually surfing and downloading few stuffs when i noticed a fliker of my browser mozilla..i dont know wat happened but i continued to work without noticing any unexpected stuff..after few moments,i noticed a absurd kid of icon on my taskbar(pls refer to the picture attached),which i never downloaded.. i tried to figure out wat the application is via different methods but it simply wont show up..pls tell me wat to do..

incidently,my download speed has becum slow.cant say its d same reason or something else.i have microsoft vista ultimate installed..its nothing to do with my laptop specifications...that ugly sign was not there before and when i was downloading songs, it came on all of a sudden and now i cant figure out wats wrong...i am using a NOD32 antivirus and when i did depth scan yesterday,it came out with 5 infected files but all where cleaned up..but the sign still persists on my taskbar..i dont know wat application it belongs to,let apart treating it..pls help..

pls tell me wat this is and how to remove it..
