yay it got rid of the findwhatevernow.com problem but my drive is corrupted but everthing is still there its just the shortcuts are all missing from desktop and its really weird, like you know how when you go to C:\documents and settings\ it shows all the users, well the original user, Yat Thai Chin, the folder became Yat Thai Chin.bak and theres a new user, Yat Thai Chin.YTCHIN and I can't access the internet using IE, it keeps telling me to get a connection to the internet and when i try to play warcraft, frozen throne it tells me warcraft ROC isnt installed and tells me to install it eve

does anyone know of a good backup/restore program that uses .bak because computer went all weird yesterday and everything looked like it had disappeared but it was still there but it was in a weird place C:/documents and settings/profile name.bak which was weird and the my document files were there but they weren't there wen i clicked on my documents on the desktop...so confused

i have the same problem as angeloftheflames, my browser got hijacked by findwhatevernow.com and i can't get rid of it, i've downloaded adaware, search and destroy but they dont help. I have another computer with the same problem but i neeeeed to fix this one first.
