Cabergoline Tablet is used to treat a hormone imbalance in which there is too much prolactin (a natural substance that helps breast-feeding women produce milk but can cause problems in non-breast-feeding women and men). This medication decreases prolactin levels. It belongs to a class of medications called dopamine receptor agonists.
This medication comes as a tablet you take by mouth. It is usually taken once or twice a week. Follow the directions on your prescription label and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Do not take more or less of this drug
