I found on last thursday that my laptop has been infected with VirtuMonde Trojan. I tried to remove it by using Windows Defender, Spy Doctor, Ad-Aware and Mcafee Spyware programs. Unfortunately, am not able to remove virus/ad problems permanently. I tried to boot my machine by using Win XP CD in Safe Mode. Then, ran Windows Defender. Every day, I run the above mentioned programs ( four of them ) atleast twice or thrice. Each program removes Cookie and VirtuMonde related problems upon completion of its execution.
