  1. Ugh, sorry about the late response. Anyways, Bubba, the disc was upplied by the ISP, and I think I have broadband. Pete C, I do have a router, but it's only used to set up a network between me and my brothers computer, my computer being the access point and my brothers being the one who connect to my access point (Sorry if that made no sense whatsoever.) Tootsdog9, yes, the virus is totally gone, and I have reformatted, and I did try uninstalling the network adapter and reinstalling it, yet nothing happened. Help is still appreciated.
  2. Here's the situation, I had a virus that would crash my computer about every 10 to 20 minutes. I obviously got tired of this, so I decided to do another complete system reboot. The first time through, I had no problems, everythung worked, everything was hooked up right, and bammo I'm on the internet in under a day. But THIS time, everything went fine up until the time I had to install my web browser. So, I put the disc in, I waited for it to load up, I agree to every little Terms of Condition thing, or whatever, and after that was a little check too see if I had everything needed to connect to
