I'm using windows, but I assume this will work for whatever version you have. Replace C:\Program Files\ipodder\images\splashscreen.bmp with the smallest valid bitmap image you can make. It will still show up but be less intrusive. Bonus: it makes the app load a lot faster. I _hate_ splash screens.
