[Defragging The Prefetch File]

Hahahaha....Ok here's is one you don't see around much but from the command line defrag c: -b will defrag the prefetch file and it really does make a difference on boot up if the file is really fragmented......

Is there a way to do this in 98SE?

This may or may-not be important to you BUT ,SOME, voip telephone service will not tell 911 operators your address and info. If important, you may want to check it out.

For whats its worth, I had this happen to me for a period of several weeks, finally I took the mouse apart and found dust in the optic holes in the wheel, cleaned it and it has been working fine for several months. Hope it helps you.

9827Packrat I found something that might help you or am making it now! A on screen keyboard that has only the keys you want on it so you just hit the mouse over what key you want. What keys do you want on your keyboard tell me so I can make it for ya!

Thank you so much. All the keys on the keyboard, because I have to put in the name on the check and what expense it is in. I just need to have the tab key somewhere on the right side of the keyboard.

When I'm using the MS Money software and entering checks, I have the check book in my left hand and using the 10 key with the other, to get to the next entry I must TAB and where is the tab, on the wrong side of the keyboard. Can you write a program to assign the tab key to a key over by the 10 keyboard, like maybe F12. Thanks for any help you can be.

marsh_Ox, I never new Morse code even tho I went to work for Western Union in 1946 as a teletype repairman. The only code I could do was to spell Mississippi, If you remember that is dot,dit,dot,dot,dot>forever, if my memory is correct. Also if I remember right, code operators would sign the customer messages in numbers to save time, 89 was Love & Kisses and I think 86 was Best Regards. If we could find a list of them we could sure save some typing here.

I wish I had a great story for you all, BUT, The present wife took one look at my basement and it became my handle in the old CB radio days, so it stuck. Now if you could see the basement THAT would be interesting. Oh yes the number come from the address.
