Hey thanks for your help. The internet explorer problem seemed to be fixed but all of a sudden my firefox is acting up, firstly all my quicksearch engines disappeared and it refuses to let me add more. Also, whenever i open my firefox it opens in a specific location on the screen and in a particular size no matter how much i change it. The Bookmarks toolbar also keeps enabling itself for some reason. I fear that if i reinstall firefox all my saved passwords will be lost which i cannot afford to.
