No I just want share 1 partition and protect with password.Sharing is ok but i dont want to anibody have acess without password...

whatever i do it still remain inactive ive have 4 partitions and 1 of them is shared,the other 3 is invisible from another computer over lan

And under win XP Professional? The check box "Make this folder private" is not active....
