Honda_Boy Posted July 14, 2006 Report Share Posted July 14, 2006 (edited) AMD really will drop Athlon 64 prices to compete with Intel Core 2 DuoOf course when I just bought a new Athlon 64 3500+. Same thing happened when I bought an Athlon XP to save money. The new (at the time) Scoket 754 Mobo's and processors prices dropped about a week after I built the Socket A system.
